Royal National Park: bush walk

Located on the southern border of sydney (just 32km from city centre), Royal National Park offers a great escape from the busy city environment and opportunity for locals or tourists to relax and revitalise. This is Australia's first and world's second national park to be established (First one is Yellowstone National Park, US).

There are many walking tracks with various access points. The coastal walk we did was from Otford to Garie beach (about 9km one way) and provides fantastic views of coast and there is also small stretch of rainforest along the way.Best time to visit is during winter or spring (June-October) as you will feel tired quickly walking in summer when its very hot.
